Tim’s primary passion is helping closely & privately held business owners formalize a plan for a successful exit and transition from their business…to the successors of their choice and on the most favorable financial terms. Passion for planning was started during 22-year career with the U.S. Marine Corps. Subsequently got involved in personal financial planning for individuals and families then with business entities and their owners. Helped several major financial services firm conglomerates develop internal succession/exit processes for their representatives. Also help start/stand-up/merge and wind-down several financial and other service businesses.

Obtained BSBA in Business Management while on active duty in the Marine Corps. Certified Exit Planner (CExP™) and held the FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 27, 53, 63 66 licenses as well as life/health licenses. Tim is also an enrolled agent (EA). An enrolled agent is a federally licensed tax practitioner who has proven technical expertise in the field of taxation. Enrolled agents are empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for audits, collections, and appeals. Only EAs, attorneys, and certified public accountants (CPAs) may represent taxpayers before IRS.
