Austin joined Allegiance Capital in 2018 with experience in finance, sales and marketing, and legal services. Leveraging his experience consulting with higher education institutions, Austin brings a strong foundational understanding of optimizing organizational systems and processes to produce operational efficiencies.
Prior to joining Allegiance, Austin served as Business Development Consultant for Oracle (NYSE: ORCL), a Fortune 500 multinational technology company. During his tenure at Oracle, Austin played a key role in educating and transforming the operational strategies of colleges across the U.S. by leveraging emerging cloud technologies. As a core technology member on Oracle’s higher education team, Austin was responsible for the company’s Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings and worked with technologies that ranged from analytics and operations management to application infrastructure and integration. Austin focused on key financial calculations when working with universities to modernize their IT environment, whether it was increasing ROI while reducing capital expenditures, or improving production and efficiency while reducing total cost of employment.
Austin is a curious individual with a competitive growth mindset. He attended the University of Texas from 2012-2016 and graduated with a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Finance, completing a Business Economics Option Program through Red McComb’s School of Business. Austin has experience in applying economic principles and analytical reasoning to complex financial models and scenarios, and continues to study economic theory and financial markets.
Austin grew up in Richardson, Texas and is an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, and UT Longhorn football and basketball. In his free time, Austin enjoys staying active, playing basketball and golf. When he isn’t watching or playing sports, Austin gets a kick out of listening to music and traveling to new places.
