Tamara shares the entrepreneurial spirit and a firsthand experience of the myriad challenges, successes and failures that come with starting, developing, owning and managing a company.  She serves as a founding shareholder and corporate advisor to a privately-held energy corporation, headquartered in Texas, where she held executive office for several years upon receiving unanimous approval from the Board of Directors.

Tamara has proven abilities in driving profitable growth and positioning companies for strategic value creation opportunities.  She has coordinated and negotiated numerous equity, debt, mezzanine and project financing packages along with various enterprise and asset acquisitions, vertical mergers, sale-leaseback agreements and production sharing arrangements.  She has additionally been highly successful in structuring and exercising multifaceted commodity and O&M hedges, tax equity investments and credits, licensing and distribution rights as well as owner payouts and royalty interests.

Tamara holds an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance and Energy Finance from Southern Methodist University, and an International M.A. with Distinguished Honors from the European University at St. Petersburg in Russia for which she conducted work on the O&G complex and corporate investment infrastructure.  She is a Magna Cum Laude and Beta Gamma Sigma graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.Sc. in Business Administration and completed terms at the London School of Economics and Danish Institute in Copenhagen.

Tamara has received multiple scholastic and leadership awards and, in 2014, was recognized by the Worldwide Who’s Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs and the National Association of Professional Women.
